Vehicle cover

NEW YORK —A couple of years ago, I had an idea for a vehicle cover. I was frustrated with how long it took me to cover my motorcycle with a conventional cycle cover. It took so long that I sometimes neglected to cover it at all.
My ideal cover consists of a tarp fastened to U-shaped ribs. The ribs support the tarp, like an umbrella, and would allow it to be quickly collapsed or expanded over a vehicle. It looks sort of like a giant pill-bug.
A few months ago, I saw this very cover for sale in the back of a magazine. Luckily, someone else had the same idea.
